Threlfall family of Charlesbye Farm, Dark Lane, Lathom 1940-1963

This photo album belonged to the Threlfall family of Charlesbye Farm and contains photographs which date from the 1940s, 50s and early 60s.

If you look carefully you can see local landmarks in the background of several of these pictures.

Note in particular the background in images Threlfall 4 and 5. This looks very close to the view depicted in the 1848 landscape (header image).
